Virtual Community is the ways in which the Internet and other computer mediated communication technologies are being used by a certain organization or community. Virtual community connect people through internet.

Conditions to participate in virtual community

Common interest;

 Is the belonging to or shared by two or more people within organization or community. We cannot interact with people of different interest because at the end we cannot achieve our goals. What we need we have to be in common interest so as to communicate easily. For example through social networks you can post a memo to give out a certain information. For example of social networks are Facebook, emails, WhatsApp and Instagram. These also help to establish communication between organization and its publics. In order to participate in virtual culture members must have common interest of using social networks so as to share information.

Access to internet;

 In order to participate in virtual culture must have internet devices which will help to access internet easily. For example must have computers, phones laptop. Any organization must ensure there is computer that will help to share information through internet and to upload new services and products. In order to participate in virtual community must ensure one have devices to access internet in order to participate fully in virtual community.

Network connection;

It involve people who have direct connection, you cannot be connected to the community which you have no connection, people are connected with people who share the same ideas for example colleagues ,for example if a PR personal you cannot be connected with people working under other departments like law, accounts and others. department Misuse of internet.

Facilitation skills;

That one has to possess or know when wanting to be in a certain virtual community. For example how to start or to begin a conversation and keep it following. In order to participate in virtual community you must have a certain skills about using technological devices so as to participate in any communication activities within organization or community.

Obstacles or challenges of virtual community

Network problems;

In any virtual communication to be successful, comminution must be available. If there is no network, there is no virtual community too. For example, there some areas there is no network coverage.

Technological obstacles;

There is differentiation of technological devices like phone such as phones devices. For example iPhone, iTunes, window phone and others, they limit people to buy a certain product, so due to that people failed to get information on time.

Ignorance;

Some people they don’t know how to use internets, due to that one cannot participate in virtual community because he or she have no any idea about it. Others they know how to use it but they misuse it. They uploading things which are unnecessary to their organization or community

Rules and regulations

These are terms and conditions which one has to agree with in order to join a certain group or application. So if one has to be in certain virtual community he or she has to agree with the rules and regulations.
